Welcome, it's a pleasure to have you here visiting Scenic, feel free to read further and creep through the site to learn more about whats offered here. 

Scenic was specifically designed for the enjoyment of those who appreciate the bonds formed throughout the process of role play and simple interaction. There are various chat rooms with designated settings to help boost creativity. A description and image of the scenery featured for each chat room is displayed above entry units. The chat rooms are open at all times and are accessible to all users that obey the site rules regularly. There are also several opportunities for you to make new friends, create your own characters, and improve personal role play abilities. 

For any additional information, specific categories are listed below for clarification.  

Be sure to follow the provided guidelines below in order to remain an active member on the site. Any reported violations of these rules will result in: suspensions, blocks, or complete exile. 

1. Mind your peers. This meaning, be respectful. Do not pick on, bully, or insult any other member without having been granted permission beforehand, (being 'granted permission' would only occur when your characters are doing so in an RP) otherwise, this behavior is looked down upon. 

2. Be mature. Act the age that you are. If younger than thirteen, make sure not to act wild if this is your natural nature. Don't spam the chats, overuse caps, and seek attention. Remain friendly and under control.

3. Foul language is allowed. You do have the freedom of swearing when you feel it's needed, however, you will not direct such language towards anyone else. This also means you cannot swear whenever you feel like it. Foul language will only be allowed within RP's and the main chat room (on occasion), nowhere else. 

4. Avoid drama. Several similar sites struggle with drama, and it is very common to come by when various misunderstandings occur. Please do not gossip or speak poorly of one another. Keep situations simple and offer advice if a fellow member requests of it. 

5. Attempt to remain active. A site with no users is practically worthless; if you've enjoyed your stay so far, please stop by again. The more active you are, the more opportunities you have to involve yourself in the site and upcoming events.

Each individual that would like to RP on this site must have at least one character to bring to sessions. If you already possess an OC or any character in general, then you don't have to read any further unless curious. - Now, if you do not have any RP characters, you can use one of the two provided options to aid in the creation of your character.  

*Note that any form of animal is allowed to be featured as an rp character. The only restriction is to stray from creating or rping as a human of any kind. If you happen to already possess a human rp character, then you may use him/her but not excessively. Since special abilities are allowed at a minimum, both holy and demonic characters are allowed.

Sign-ups are free and only ask of minimal information from you. A username and password is required when joining. Be sure to jot down or memorize your login information, however, if you happen to forget it, an email can be sent to you by request to regain your account. Age and location are optional when registering, you can choose whether or not such information is displayed for the public. 

The 'fill in's' above are the minimum requirements of what must be posted on your profile for your character(s). You always have the option of adding more information about the character you decide to RP as.

Skill levels that range from beginner to advanced are welcome. The main RP focus here is semi-realistic, semi-advanced. Some abnormal features such as unnatural eye coloration, and subtle abilities are allowed. An example of this would be; violet eyes, accompanied by the skill of water control. You have the freedom to come up with unusual names and titles for the ability that your character possesses. Each character may only have one special ability, that must also be approved by the site owner before used within RP's. Your characters ability also has limits of how powerful it can become. Keep characteristics simple, and have fun during creative processes.

Due to the most recent updates of webs this year, html inserts are no longer available to free sites. Because of this, the additional RP and chat rooms that have been added to the 'pack chat' tab are displayed as links. If you would like to RP in one of those chat rooms, just click on the link of choice and wait for the browser to load.
